Product history: this item is a replica of the Pumpkin Sofa, Originally deisgned by Pierre Paulin. In 1969, Pierre Paulin received a special request to create an exclusive design for the former French president Georges Pompidou, intended for use in the Elysée Palace. This unique commission led to the creation of the iconic Pumpkin Chair, which Pierre designed in 1971.
